HEARTCOMPASS SECRETS: A Mind With Heart for Money
What is money?
Is it a means of exchange? Is it a measure of value? Is it the root of all evil? Is it, as Ralph Waldo Emerson puts it, "in its effects and laws, as beautiful as roses"?
Or is money like everything else we experience in physical reality; a form given substance by feeling in the Mind?
I used to think money was a barrier - something invented by the Ego Mind to create the Illusion of Separation. Things that were once "free" such as food, water, shelter, transportation, health care, even clean air, are now "separated" from us by the lock and key of the price tag.
When I had lots of money, that wasn't a problem.
I had the "key" to open the lock and get what I wanted.
But when I "lost" all of my money, guess what? What was once the "key" became the barrier. I could no longer access the things I was "separated" from.
I found lots a ways to be resourceful, and to meet my needs without access to lots of money and credit. I even began to think that I was better off without money, that I was no longer a slave to financial matters.
But all of that was just trying to hide from the Truth - that I was giving substance to the form of money in my Mind with false fear-based beliefs.
And as long as I continue to do that it won't matter how much money I have or don't have, or what I do or don't do to get it.
As long as money continues to exist in my Mind as a barrier, or a key, or as anything else it is not - then it will continue to function as a barrier, creating the Illusion that I am in any way separate from the things my Heart desires!
Money, like everything else in our Mind, is form given substance by feeling. Remember, it's not the form that matters - it's the substance! Whether you have a penny in your pocket (as I did at one time), or a million in the stock market, the form may be different, but the substance is always the same.
