HeartCompass Quotes:

"The first half of life is devoted to forming a healthy ego, the second half is going inward and letting go of it."

- Carl Jung

Tomorrow marks the entry of two significant forms in my life experience.

My website, "Metaphysics for Life", was launched on January 30, 2009. It emerged from the warm, wet, dark womb of my Mind, into the cold, harsh, brighly lit universe of the internet where it continues to live and grow.

And it was on January 30, 1959 that my physical body (in baby form of course) emerged from it's warm, wet, dark, safe place (my Mom) into the cold, harsh, brightly lit Sanai Hospital room in Detroit, Michigan. I've come a long way from Detroit, and I also continue to live and grow.

My birthday has always been a challenging time for me, at least for as long as I can remember.

It occurs in the "dead of winter" when it's cold, wet, dark and often gloomy here in the Northern Hemisphere close to the 42 degree Latitude.  And, it brings up memories, thoughts and feelings, related to my life as a child, and my relationship to my parents - especially my Mom.

So many of us forget the role our mothers, and others, played as we celebrate what we perceive as "our day", the day of our birth.  We do this, even though we know, deep in our Hearts, that this day would not even exist if it were not for our mother, our father, our family, our ancestors, and the community we were born into.

So I want to take this day to acknowledge all the people that have made it possible for me to be born into this physical world and enjoy a physical life experience.  And that, my friend, must include EVERYONE, including YOU!

Each of us exists only in relation to the whole.  And the whole is made up of all the parts.  The "parts" being each and every one of us.  As humanity moves into the space and time of Unity Consciousness (the awareness that everything is connected), we become aware that without all the "others" in existence on this planet, and perhaps even in other dimensions, each of us as individuals could not and would not exist.

Now, that might sound a bit extreme - even ridiculous.  That would be your Ego Mind kicking in to do it's job, giving substance and meaning to your thoughtforms with fear-based belief, and creating the Illusion of Separation.  Just think of the Ego Mind and its creations as a kind of caterpillar, feeding on your life experience and getting bigger and fatter every day.  If that upsets you, remember this - it takes a fat, healthy caterpillar to create a butterfly! (see Featured Video below)

So how do we transform this caterpillar, this big fat healthy body of thoughtforms given substance by fear-based beliefs, into a butterfly sipping nectar from the Love-based Truth of our Hearts?

We begin by becoming aware that everything we experience as our physical reality is in fact made up of thought (form) given meaning (substance) by the feelings in our Heart.  That includes our own bodies, our friends and families ("others"), the work we do, the foods we eat, the clothes we wear, the cars we drive, the flowers, trees, birds and the bees.

And that brings me back to my Mom.

How I perceive my own mother (a thoughtform) is shaped by the feelings I have for her in my own Heart.  I was born in the late 1950's, when breastfeeding was discouraged, and babies were supposed to learn how to "self-sooth" (ie. left alone to cry for hours!).  My Mom is a good person - loving, thoughtful and kind.  But as a baby, in order to protect myself, my Heart shut down in order to not feel the pain of what my baby-mind perceived as abandonment. As an adult, I honestly believed I did not love my own mother!

Every year, as my Birthday approaches, these feelings of loneliness, abandonment and pain resurface. But this year is different!  This year, I turned to the Love-based Truth in my own Heart to permanently heal the lie that my Ego-Mind has been telling me for 54 years!

The joy I feel in this Love-based Truth is incredible!

How, you may ask, is this done?

Featured Video(s): How Caterpillars Become Butterflies

I was a butterfly farmer for several years, raising thousands of butterflies.  The metamorphosis from caterpillar to butterfly is an excellent metaphor for the metamorphosis of the Ego-Mind to the Heart-Mind.  As Barbara says in this video, the job of the caterpillar (Ego-Mind) is to eat and eat and eat.  When it is done eating, it must hang itself upside down from a twig or leaf, and allow the metamorphosis to take place.

The Heartcompass LifeNavigation System is a complete and powerful system that allows you to "hang your caterpillar upside down" and allow transformation from Ego-Mind to Heart-Mind.  Watch this short video, then click the link below to learn how you can join the Foundation for Creating A Mind With Heart.
